Your Green Eyes

 Your Green Eyes, My Forever

Your green eyes haunt me—gentle flame,

A quiet spark that knows my name.

They catch me when I try to stray,

And kiss the fears I hide away.

In every glance, the world slows down,

The chaos folds, the noise unwound.

They hold the calm of summer rain,

And whisper love without refrain.

I see them not in haunted dreams,

But in the stars’ forgiving beams—

Not specters, no, but something true:

A silent vow from me to you.
